Treating Neuropathy and nerve pain in Enschede
Burning or tingling pain from irritated or compressed nerves.
Nerve pain feels different from ordinary muscle or joint pain: burning, shooting, tingling or numb. It arises when a nerve becomes irritated or compressed.
The compression can sit anywhere along the nerve path, often in the back or neck where the nerve leaves the spine. The site of the pain and the site of the cause are therefore often different.
How we help you with neuropathy and nerve pain
We trace where the nerve is being compressed and reduce the pressure at that point, often with the Cox® Decompression Technique. That way we treat the cause of the nerve pain.
Frequently asked questions
Can a chiropractor help with neuropathy and nerve pain?
That depends on the cause, which is why we always start with a thorough examination. If your complaint turns out to be suitable for chiropractic care, we draw up a treatment plan that fits you. Many people experience relief, although results differ from person to person.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book an appointment directly, without a referral from your GP.
Is the treatment reimbursed?
Chiropractic care is not part of the Dutch basic health insurance, but many insurers cover it under supplementary insurance. No deductible (eigen risico) applies. The pricing page explains how to submit your invoice.
How many treatments will I need?
That differs per person and per complaint. After the first examination we give you a realistic estimate and a plan, so you know where you stand.
