Examination & evidence based practice

Good treatment starts with a good diagnosis. We work evidence based: our approach is grounded in scientifically supported methods, tailored to your personal situation.

How we work

Understand first, then treat

Evidence based practice means bringing three things together: the best available scientific evidence, our clinical experience, and your personal wishes and situation. So we do not simply treat, but base what we do on what demonstrably works and suits you.

That is why we take time for the examination. Only once we know where your complaint comes from do we choose the treatment. That way we avoid treating only the symptom and work towards a lasting result.

How the examination works

1

Case history

We discuss your complaint, your history and what limits you in daily life. That gives us the full picture.

2

Chiropractic examination

We examine how your spine and joints move and where exactly the restriction or irritation sits.

3

Neurological examination

We test your nerve function, muscle strength and reflexes to determine whether and where a nerve is compressed.

4

Diagnosis & plan

We make a diagnosis, discuss it with you and draw up a treatment plan that fits your situation.
